Finance Officer
Location: Bundall, Gold Coast
Position: Full-time
Join a forward-thinking management team in a rapidly growing Asian import business, specializing in supplying top supermarket retailers in the Australia and New Zealand markets. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to help drive our success in this fast-paced, competitive industry.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar fast-paced role, with a proven track record.
- Exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and Excel.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a wholesale business is preferred.
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll, including superannuation, annual leave, and holiday pay accruals.
- Conduct bank reconciliations. Prepare and submit BAS returns.
- Review accounts payable prior to processing payments.
- Oversee aged debtors and collections.
- Prepare monthly accounts with supporting notes and assist the external accountant with annual accounts.
- Manage cash flow and prioritize bill payments.
- Handle insurance claims.
- Provide support to management as needed.

Head of Sales - Private Label

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales strategies for our Private Label offerings.
- Drive growth and enhance relationships with key supermarket accounts.
- Collaborate closely with buying teams and leverage your industry knowledge to optimize sales.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or buying within the retail space, ideally with connections to Coles, Woolworths, or Bunnings.
- A proactive, results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of retail and consumer goods.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Gold Coast, Bundall.
